*Test Results of Transfer and Adult Students
ACT or SAT results are not required of applicants who have completed more than 12 semester hours (18 quarter hours) of college credit or have been out of high school more than three years.

Arrange to have a current or former instructor or employer send a letter of recommendation to:

- For transfer students: Submit your high school transcript to verify high school graduation.
Students who already have a bachelors degree are exempt from this requirement.
Admission decisions are based only on college-level work for applicants that have completed 32 or more semester hours (18 quarter hours) of college credit.
Request an official transcript from the registrar of each college or university you have attended and have it mailed to the Elmhurst College Office of Admission.
If you are currently enrolled at another institution, please have the registrar forward an additional official transcript at the end of the semester or term (final transcript).
If you are a member of Phi Theta Kappa at your currently enrolled institution, please ask that your PTK membership is indicated on your official transcript.
- Feel free to provide any additional information about your schooling, interests, or family or work experiences that you feel is appropriate.
This may be communicated in an essay on Screen 8, attached to the application agreement statement, or discussed in person during an on-campus interview.
Entering Freshmen
- For fall term, the review of applications begins on October 1 and continues until all spaces are filled.

Requests for Additional Information
During the review of your application, the faculty admission board may request additional information for consideration. Examples include seventh- or eighth-semester high school grades, grades to date in current college coursework, a personal interview, or an essay. You will be notified if the college needs such additional information to evaluate your application.
